It’s November, Halloween is in the rear-view mirror, so we started on Christmas. Some new large Christmas figures arrived this past week; snowmen, nutcrackers, and gingerbread boys and girls. A photo is below. Every year we store up all the antique and vintage Christmas items that come in, until the season arrives. We just started unpacking those this week.

We also received some new garden gnomes this past week. You may be asking; why garden gnomes in November? They are a popular Christmas gift item, so we stock them year round.

Last Christmas season we kept getting asked for the same thing over and over again, glass ornaments. We listened, and we found a company in Fergus Ontario that makes hand blown glass ornaments. The first batch arrived this past week. They come in four sizes, photos are below. We think these are really cool, thanks to all our customers who came up with the idea.

Those pieces are on display and available. There was also lots of sterling flatware. We are still sorting through the flatware to see what matches. We’ll get that out on display in the near future.

A new batch of replica tin signs has arrived! We’ve restocked many of our favorites that were sold old, and a few new signs as well. There were lots of naughty signs in this batch. Clearly many of our customers have a naughty sense of humour; we like the naughty signs too. Another batch of all new signs is due to arrive in November. 

This past week we received a shipment from Springwater Woodcraft. This line is made of all sustainably sourced solid white pine, and made in Ontario. New Springwater arrivals include: 6-Cube High Cubbies, Tall Sideboards, Foyer Tables, Panel Coat Hooks, Chimney Bookcases, Tremblant Nightstands, and Bucket Benches. Also, two brand new Springwater creations arrived; a Mode Bin Rack, and a Cross Table. Photos of some of the new arrivals are below.
