This past week a shipment of reclaimed wood furniture arrived from our Irish Coast African Dusk line. New arrivals included: large bookcases, large sideboards, buffet and hutches, ladder back chairs, nest of tables, large media units, three drawer night stands, and small end tables. A return to normal levels of inventory for our Irish Coast line will not be possible until at least 2023. There is just too much global demand for the product right now. This will be our last update for the year. We’ve included a few photos below of new arrivals from the last week. However, instead of updating new arrivals from last week, we thought we would just quickly mention some of what we have instore for early 2022.
Shipping delays are common these days so some dates may change. We have an eclectic new high-end line called Arcadia coming. We will post a new section for Arcadia on our Reproduction page in January. There are lots of terrific large sideboards in this line as well as cabinets and dining tables. Arcadia is big impressive pieces that stand out and make a room. Arcadia pieces are scheduled to begin arriving in early February, with new arrivals right through April.
Tons of reclaimed wood furniture will be arriving in the first quarter of 2022, starting with a large shipment in January. Many of the Irish Coast pieces that are currently out of stock will arrive next month.
Lots of fun new vintage tin signs are coming late January/February. We will also be restocking many favorites that are currently sold out.
A big shipment from our Springwater line us is coming in late February. Any Springwater pieces ordered by February 1st will be included in that shipment. So, there is still time to get your orders in.
Another new line is coming soon, this one is of teak root tables and carvings, live edge bookcases and tables, carving and sculptures, and lots of accessories, it will arrive in stages starting hopefully in January. Most imported items are arriving in a trickle rather than all at once these days because of the supply chain backups, but things are still moving. Containers used to show up all at once, now they are more staggered.
We have lots of great items on the way for spring outdoor season. They will begin arriving in March. By far the biggest selection of outdoor metal birds we’ve ever had is on its way. Plus, benches, planters, gnomes, statuary, and lots more.
Those are just a few of the highlights of the new items coming. Things are obviously changing rapidly at the moment, but we have learned through all the previous lockdowns that shipments will continue to arrive no matter the covid situation.
As for antiques, we have warehouses full as usual, and we will bring in new items as we have space. Some highlights include lots of great prints, paintings, wall art, and mirrors. If you have a blank wall, we’ve got you covered. We’ve acquired lots of great china sets over the last few months which we will be bring in as soon as we can make space and sort through them. And for our many cup and saucer collecting customers, there are lots coming, we will be sorting through several batches over the next few weeks. And of course, there is an endless supply of antique furniture coming, too numerous to mention. But I have been noticing lots of armoires and sofas in our warehouses. There will be a wide variety of new antique furniture of course. As well as every other manor of antique item we come across.
Have a great holiday everyone, we will have the fireplace on if you are stopping in, if not we hope to see you in 2022!
