Summers can get a little warm at The Barn, so we’ve decided to give ourselves a little break and shorten our hours for the months of July and August. For those two months we will be open four days a week, Friday through Monday, 10am to 5pm, closed Tuesdays through Thursday. We plan to return to our normal hours in September. We may also occasionally close early on days of extreme heat. We will be maintaining our current hours for the final week of June.
Of course, as always, there will be lots of new arrivals in July and August. However, we will also be taking a break from posting our regular Monday morning updates on this page until September. If you want to see what’s new for the next couple of months, you will have to come in person. Below is a brief preview of what’s on the way for July and August.
In July there will a new shipment of our replica tin signs. Also in July, we are scheduled to receive a new shipment from our Nature Form line. And a new batch of Tiffany style lamps will show up in July. Plus we have many new arrivals from our WoW and Jodhpur lines to bring in.
August is when we start receiving shipments of reproduction fall items, and items for the Christmas season. We are also due to receive a Springwater Woodcraft shipment before the fall weather arrives.
Plus, there will be lots of antique new arrivals in July and August including five antique bedroom sets that are already in our warehouse, and a huge 200piece plus Royal Crown Derby Mikado set. We will bring in new antique pieces as space allows.
Below is an update on new arrivals from this past week.
We brought in a really cool piece from our WoW line, this past week. There are three photos below of the VW Journey Bar. We couldn’t get a single photo that gave a good view of the bar, that’s why we took three photos.
A large collection of ornate gilt frames showed up this past week. Some had paintings in them, some had loose paintings that fit the frames, we will have to reassemble some. Other odd frames we will turn into mirrors. There are a couple of photos below, but there were dozens more that are not in the photos. We brought in a few, the rest went into storage, we will sort through them, and eventually they will all be put out for sale, but that will take some time.
