A long awaited and overdue container arrived from India this past week. If you drove by The Barn on Tuesday or Wednesday you may have seen us unloading. In this container were some of the most exciting new introductions we’ve had in years. We started working on this shipment during the third covid lockdown. Now the first container has finally arrived! Two new sections with photos of some of the new pieces are up on our Reproductions page; WoW and Jodhpur. All the pieces in the photos will eventually make it into The Barn, plus many more fantastic items. In addition to the WoW and Jodhpur lines, the container was packed with a wide variety of antique and vintage accessory pieces. There is a photo below of the first few accessory pieces that we got into the building. As there are hundreds of pieces, this shipment is not coming into The Barn all at once. We will have new arrivals from this shipment for weeks and months to come. A few items are already on display. Photos of some of the first pieces we unpacked are below including: a scooter bar, several sets of nesting tables, bicycle stools, wine tables, and a fantastic trunk. Lots more will come in throughout the holiday season.

We didn’t bring in much antique furniture this past week, as we were saving the space for new arrivals from the container that just arrived. A few of the items that did make it into the building were a set of four mahogany shield back dining room chairs, walnut sideboard, and a cast iron & wood table desk.
Antique non furniture new arrivals included: large hand hammered brass planter-a photo is below, large framed Thai print, unusual surf rider figure-a photo is below, Wedgwood coffee pot, four sided hallway light fixture, large framed floral painting with light, 1940’s Addison Bakelite Waterfall Art Deco radio-a photo is below, oak sideboard mirror, 2foot bust of Apollo, pair of 15inch tall polished silver plated candle sticks, prints of Quebec & St Lawrence seaway, collection of framed fashion prints, signed Wolf etchings, assorted framed paintings, 19th century framed east coast prints, nice small pair of silver plated candelabras, collection of silver plated flatware & hollowware, several figurines, assorted odd pieces of bone china and porcelain, some nice crystal and glass dishes, bowls, & baskets, 3tier cake stand, a fresh batch of teacups & saucers including a bunch of Aynsley, 7 horse brasses, pair of silver plated salts with blue glass inserts, electrified oil lamp, miniatures, pair Bristol green lusters, rare collection of 13 fairy lamps, and more.
