A couple of shipments of reproductions we were expecting have been delayed. So instead, we brought in lots of antiques this past week!
Antique furniture new arrivals included: set of 6 mahogany shield back dining chairs, pair Queen Anne dining chairs, pair of upholstered tub chairs, Art Deco style upholstered arm chair, pine Chevelle mirror, small walnut ladies’ desk, vintage cement bird bath, free standing card table, oval mahogany dining table-no leaves, 6foot walnut sideboard, 3piece coffee & end table set[iron bottoms & maple tops], and lots more kitchen, dining, and living room chairs.
Antique non furniture new arrivals included: brass & wood postal scale, 42” diameter wooden Harvest Village sign; comes with the molds that were used to make the sign-a photo is below, pair of silver bedroom lamps, oval mahogany inlaid English serving tray-circa 1870’s, stone statuary of a baby, 5 different South American stone carvings, pair of small cast iron birds, dark red lacquered Buddha carving, solid mahogany model airplane, assorted wood carvings, assorted tools, 4foot tall porcelain vase, bronze fountain frog, unusual cut crystal vase, miniature croquet set in original wooden container, assorted odd pieces of bone china, hand crafted pair of Canadian bookends signed Kuza, crystal lamp, hanging brass incense burner, large ornate gilt mirror-a photo is below, pair of iron candelabras, 2 unusual elephant figures, extra-large 10” chandelier prisms, and lots more.
We’ve been sorting through the antique lighting shipment we received a couple of weeks ago. This past week we put at least a dozen different chandeliers out for sale. Lots more still to come, as we continue sorting through this shipment.
