New for 2023, Springwater Woodcraft shipments will be arriving every 2 months. The first Springwater shipment of the year arrived this past week. New Springwater arrivals included: large bookcases, chimney bookcases, jam cupboards, foyer tables, flip top end tables, Plumfield console, clipper trunk, small oval table, occasional tables, and Collier end tables. NOTICE: Every year we get a rush of Springwater orders in the spring. Springwater pieces tend to be very popular with our customers who have cottages. Our next Springwater shipment will be early April. Springwater orders must be received by mid March to arrive in early April. If you miss the deadline, our next Springwater shipment will be early June.
With all the Springwater new arrivals, we didn’t have much room to bring in antique furniture this past week. So for this week we are just going to list all the antique new arrivals together. New antique arrivals included: fly phishing rod in case, a collection of signed paperweights, a terrific humidor, a second small humidor, more assorted copper and brass pieces, unusual prayer box, set of 6 blue glass chargers, 2 large Canadian flags, assorted silver plate hollowware and flatware, a set of sterling spoons, 5 cobalt blue demitasse with sterling bases, a collection of cast iron horse and wagon toys-a photo is below, large crystal pedestal fruit bowl, assorted sets of crystal glasses. 3 different porcelain teapots, assorted fruit bowls, Little Red Ridding Hood cookie jar, vintage desk top phone, small gate leg table with piecrust edge, Eastlake parlour table, Martha Washington sewing cabinet, Royal Albert hostess set in original box, 3 washboards, 2 pairs of silver plate candelabra’s, assorted crystal[ vases, ashtrays, bowls, etc.], vintage neon clock by Leadworks [Cleveland, Ohio], a new batch of linen, nice 6pane window mirror, 2 porcelain horse figurines, Imari salad bowl & salt and pepper, 2 different mantle clocks-a photo is below, Empire miter saw, Cloisonné vase, 3 sets of silver plate flatware, and more.
Two different lots of Waterford crystal showed up this past week. One small lot, than a few days later a larger lot arrived. The Waterford was mostly bowls, glasses, candle sticks, and lamps. A photo of the first lot is below. I’m not going to bother listing the Waterford items because as of the writing of this update about half of the Waterford has been sold already, and we aren’t sure how much will be left by the time this is posted. Until this past week, we haven’t had much Waterford in a while, I guess there was some pent up demand.
