This past week, The Barn got a lot more colourful; we received an enormous shipment from our Springwater line in lots of great colours, 62 pieces in all. About 40 of those pieces have found their way into the building already, the rest will come in as we make space. New Springwater arrivals included: tall bookcases, ladder shelves, 3 & 4 foot bucket benches, 6 cube high cubbies, tater bins, tall sideboards, small nightstands, Tremblant nightstands, jam cupboards, wall coatracks, flip top end tables, chimney bookcases, milk benches, and 3 cube cubby benches. New antique furniture arrivals included: 7foot oak refinished church pew-photo below, Victorian dresser & mirror painted white, set of 4 maple chairs painted purple and blue, pair of folding outdoor iron chairs, 1/4 cut oat plant stand, magazine rack, 4foot primitive bench, walnut chest of drawers, 2 folding iron & wood bar stools, pair of iron & wicker lamp tables, and assorted chairs.
New antique non furniture arrivals included: rare bulls eye oil lamp on marble base, Holmdale milk can-Wingham Ontario, 6pane window mirror, Five Roses metal can, vintage wooden horse wall art, a batch of cow and goat bells, just the wheel off an old spinning wheel[someone will do something interesting with it], set of 4 louver doors, vintage horse bell, 2 cheese boxes, Smith Corona manual typewriter, cast iron newel post, brass fireplace set, U.S. army toys, charcoal iron, Big Ben alarm clock, copper water jug, 5 flour sifters, black table top rotary phone, 1930’s Underwood typewriter, cast iron horse and cart, assorted Asian design vases, 4 Satsuma planters, 2 large wall fans, iron hanging planter, 3 jewelry boxes[1 is musical], Coleman lantern, assorted framed prints & paintings, large soapstone carving, pair of Louis XV candle sticks, wooden step ladder, gilt mirror, large wooden easel, lots of assorted smalls, and more.
